IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE

Potential risk of injury with inner drum of the following washing machines of Bosch and Siemens: Bosch WAT28320NL, Bosch WAT28461NL, Bosch WAT284B2NL and Siemens WM14T463NL, Siemens WM14T320NL. All products have the FD-number: FD9902.
Owners of affected appliances are requested to comply with the following safety notice.

 
 

In the Netherlands, a small number of certain washing machines of Bosch and Siemens, from the production period February 2019 are affected.

Our quality checks have revealed a potential damage to the connection of the inner drum. Under certain circumstances, this connection could get loose during the spin cycle and thus pose a risk of considerable injury.
BSH requests all consumers to check whether their appliance is affected by this safety measure and offers every owner of an affected washing machine a free replacement of the same brand and model.

The safety of our consumers is of utmost importance to us. To minimize safety risks and as a precaution, do not operate your affected washing machine at more than 800 rotations per minute until the appliances has been replaced.

1. Check whether your washing machine is affected as follows:

Go to your washing machine. On the inside of the door or on the back of the washing machine you will find the nameplate. Make a note of the model number (E-No.) and the four-digit batch number (FD) as well as the Z-number.

You will find the nameplate either on the inside of the door or on the back of the washing machine.

 

2. To determine whether your appliance is actually affected, please enter these numbers into the boxes:
